Restaurant website design that sells the room.
The Fifth Floor designs and builds original websites for independent restaurants, bars, cafés and bakeries, from New York to London. Every site is built from scratch around one job: turning someone who is curious into someone with a reservation. From $999.
Most restaurant websites were built once and never touched again. The menu is a PDF from two seasons ago. The hours are wrong on mobile. Private dining is a sentence at the bottom of the About page. The booking button is three taps deep. Meanwhile the room is beautiful, the food is good, and none of it comes through on a phone at 6pm when someone is deciding where to eat.
We were restaurant operators before we built websites. We design for how guests actually decide.
What a Fifth Floor restaurant website does
Sells the room in three seconds. The first screen answers what it is, where it is and why tonight.
Puts the reservation one tap away. Connected to Resy, OpenTable, Tock, SevenRooms or whatever you already use.
Makes the menu readable. Real text, not a PDF. Faster on phones and readable by Google and AI search.
Turns private dining into a revenue line. A real page with capacities, menus and an inquiry form that captures the date, headcount and budget.
Fills quiet nights. Events, set menus and offers get their own home instead of an Instagram story that disappears.
Gets found. Built with local SEO, structured data and fast load times, so you show up when people search for what you serve, where you serve it.
No templates. Ever.
Every site we build has one signature idea drawn from the restaurant's real world: the way a menu is written, the light at second seating, the ritual of the first pour. It's what makes a guest remember you over the place next door with the same template. Custom type, your own photography, your voice.
How it works
We read it first. Tell us about the restaurant, or buy The Website and we'll book your call.
We talk. Your ideas, the scope, a clear timeline and a clear price.
We build it. Designed, written and built for you, reviewed with you, launched. Then we watch what happens and make the next move.
Add what keeps working after close
A website is the front door. These handle what happens after someone walks up to it:
The Concierge™: an AI concierge on your site that answers questions about the menu, dietary needs, parking and private events, and books the table. From $1,499.
The Front Desk™: an AI receptionist for restaurants that answers the phone during service and after close. From $1,999.
The Brief™: one page every morning with covers, reviews and what's slipping. From $2,499.
“The Fifth Floor gave me a rebuilt booking flow, five automated sequences, and a private dining page that now drives six figures in new annual revenue.” Fabio M., restaurant owner
Questions owners ask
How much does a restaurant website cost?
Our restaurant websites start from $999 for The Website™. The final price depends on scope (pages, menus, private dining, ordering, events) and is agreed on a call before any work starts. Payment plans are available.
How long does it take to build a restaurant website?
Some sites are ready in a day. Bigger builds with private dining, events and multiple menus take a few weeks. We agree the timeline together before we start.
Do you use templates?
No. Every site is built from your room, your food, your photos and your brand. No two of our sites look alike, because no two restaurants are alike.
Can you connect Resy, OpenTable, Tock, Toast or my online ordering?
Yes. We build around the reservation and ordering tools you already use, so guests book in the fewest taps possible.
Do I own the website?
Yes. You paid for it, it's yours.
I already have a website. Do you start over?
Not unless we have to. We keep what works, cut what doesn't and rebuild it around where the restaurant is now.
